# Add Organization schema

Organization markup identifies the publisher: name, url, logo and sameAs profiles. Place one JSON-LD block in the sitewide layout, use absolute URLs, and keep names consistent with the brand elsewhere. Validate with the Rich Results Test and do not add ratings or addresses that belong to other types.

## Prerequisites

- Access to the sitewide layout
- Brand assets and verified profile URLs

## Steps

1. **Write the entity block** — Emit JSON-LD with @type Organization, name, url, logo and sameAs. Use the production brand name and absolute image URLs.
Check: The block parses as JSON and contains name, url, logo and at least one sameAs URL.
2. **Place it once in the layout** — Render the block in the root layout so every page inherits the same values. Remove Organization blocks duplicated by plugins or page-level components.
Check: A DOM query finds exactly one Organization JSON-LD block per page.
3. **Validate and monitor** — Run the Rich Results Test on the homepage and one article. Fix warnings about missing recommended fields, and re-check after brand changes.
Check: The Rich Results Test reports the Organization entity with no errors.
