Submit your product feed to Google Merchant Center
Merchant Center is the feed layer behind free product listings, Shopping ads and many AI shopping answers. Create an account, verify the domain, submit a feed with stable ids, GTINs and accurate price and availability, then fix disapprovals in the Diagnostics tab. Keep the site and feed in sync, because mismatched prices and stock are the most common suspension cause.
The extended brief explains when this works, when it does not, and the trade-offs. Join the waitlist and it unlocks for every tip when sign-in opens; MCP access is the paid part.
A product catalogue export with ids, prices and availability
How to apply it
Create and verify the account
Open Merchant Center, add the business details, claim the store domain and complete verification with the method the domain supports.
Check: Merchant Center shows the website as claimed and verified.
Connect the feed
Connect the store platform, plugin or scheduled file upload so products arrive with id, title, description, link, image_link, price, availability, brand and GTIN or MPN.
Check: The Products tab lists the catalogue with no missing identifiers on the first page.
Fix disapprovals
Work through Diagnostics item by item: correct identifiers, align prices and availability, and remove products that are not for sale.
Check: The Diagnostics tab shows zero disapproved items for the sampled category.
Schedule the sync
Set the feed to refresh at least daily and after price or stock changes. Record who checks Diagnostics each week.
Check: The feed settings show a daily schedule and the last fetch is within 24 hours.
