Rewrite top-of-page answers so AI assistants can quote them
Paste the visible text of pricing, integrations and top use-case pages into Claude with a prompt that demands one exact quoted sentence. Pages where Claude cannot quote a single answer, or has to stitch one together from several paragraphs, get rewritten so a two-to-three sentence answer sits directly under the heading.
Why this matters
Ask Claude to quote the answer from a page; if it cannot, rewrite the opening as a direct answer.
Before you start
- Access to edit the body content of pricing, integrations and use-case pages
- Access to an LLM chat interface such as Claude
How to apply it
List the pages buyers read before booking
Write down the pricing page, the integrations page and the top use-case pages, and next to each one the single buyer question that page is supposed to answer.
Check: A list exists pairing each page URL with exactly one buyer question.
Run the quote test in Claude
Copy the visible body text of one page (not just the URL) into Claude and send the prompt below, substituting the buyer question from the list.
Check: Claude's reply either contains a verbatim sentence from the page or states that the answer is missing.
Mark each page pass or fail
Fail any page where Claude cannot quote one clear sentence, or where it has to stitch the answer together from several paragraphs.
Check: Every page in the list is marked pass or fail, and each fail names the paragraph Claude had to combine.
Rewrite the opening as a direct answer
Replace the company preamble at the top of the failed page with two or three sentences that answer the buyer question, including the concrete details (what connects, what syncs, which plans, setup time). Keep links out of the answer block and move the rest of the copy underneath it.
Check: The rendered page shows a two-to-three sentence answer as the first block after the heading, above any company description, with no anchor tags in that block.
Re-run the quote test on the edited page General best practice
Paste the updated page text into a fresh Claude chat with the same prompt and confirm it returns a single quoted sentence rather than a reconstruction.
Check: Claude replies with one verbatim sentence copied from the new opening block.
