Cookies we use
The session cookie is HTTP-only, Secure and SameSite=Lax, and its name carries the __Host- prefix, which stops other sites from reading or setting it. It is only created when you sign in: if you just visit the public site, no cookie is set.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __Host-seomcp_session | Keeps you signed in so your dashboard, API keys and project progress work | Up to 30 days since the last use, never more than 90; deleted when you sign out | Technical | First party |
Local storage
Your light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your browser and is not used to track you. You can delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
No advertising or third-party cookies
We do not use advertising, analytics or third-party cookies. Page views are counted with Pulse, a cookieless analytics tool: it sets no cookies and does not keep your IP address. Details are in the privacy policy.
If you sign in with Google or GitHub, you do so on their own pages, which use their cookies under their own cookie policies; they are not set on seo-mcp.io.
Consent
The cookie listed above is technical: it is needed to provide the feature you ask for (staying signed in), which article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) exempts from consent. Because we use no analytics or advertising cookies, no consent banner is shown.
How to delete cookies
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings, usually under privacy or site data. If you delete the session cookie, you will have to sign in again. More information about how we process your data is in the privacy policy.
